Claudia Posey couldn’t make it to an Indio midwife in time for the birth of their son, Brodyn, in August. Three of the firefighters who died in the Esperanza Fire helped deliver the baby along the side of a road.
Claudia joined the show by phone to share the story.

You may have signed the petition. You may be responsible for it being on the ballot next November. But that’s all because they lied to you. They want to raise the tax on all your phone lines in order to “Keep 911 Response Times Quick!” What they didn’t tell you is that only 0.75% of the revenue will go towards upgrading the 911 system. 99.25% of the money will go towards reimbursing hospitals for the free health care they give illegal aliens in the emergency rooms. Jake, a convicted child molester and registered sex offender, runs a prison outreach program for other sex offenders. You think he’d be fighting J&K to try and keep perv rehab houses open in residential areas. But while Mr. Goldenflame is an admitted child molester, he’s very reasonable when it comes to what should be done with these guys when they’re ready to get out of jail. Mr. Ken Mehlman, the Bush-Cheney campaign manager, is probably the closest that John & Ken are going to get to the Bush administration…judging from how this interview went. Right out of the gate, he refuses to consider President Bush’s Amnesty Plan to be an amnesty plan. He even continues to wave the Weapons Of Mass Destruction flag. Since J&K gave his campaign manager here a lesson in “What Californians Are Pissed About”, it’ll be interesting to see how the Bush campaign changes by the time it gets to the west coast. John Kobylt once said, “When the circus begins, we’re here to bring you the circus.”
Well, in the center ring is Priscilla Haynes, who wrote a letter that was handed to the judge, interrupting the Scott Peterson trial. Scrawled on the outside was, “urgent possible evidence”. The court recessed to view the letter, and returned without any further mention of it.
KFI’s Laura Ingle caught up with the woman responsible for the letter, right before the woman resumed her required medication schedule.
